This week we will explore “The Shapes of Iberia” as our theme is geometry, and there is plenty to find in the architecture of Spain and Portugal.
Some is old…

Some is new…

And some can only be seen from a birds-eye view…

You can find more geometry at the original Lens-Artist challenge.
I love those brilliant colors in the ajuelos and the Moorish architecture. A great choice for the challenge, Mei-Mei.

Oh I hope you get to enjoy them when you are able to travel again! What is your favorite part of the country that you have visited? Not counting where you live haha

In the summer holidays we always prefer the north, for the south we will have to choose other less warm dates.
We really like to go through Asturias and Cantabria, both beach and mountain together, the towns are beautiful and the food is exquisite. As for big cities, Barcelona is my favorite. And for you? What’s your favorite part of Spain?

Great examples of various geometric shapes, Mei-Mei! Hard for me to pick a favorite but if so, perhaps the aerial shot looking down on the trees.
