Lens Artists Photo Challenge #103 – Surprise

While exploring the walls of the medieval city of San Gimignano, we discovered this fascinating door, a lovely surprise.  While it appeared to give a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside, I suspect it may actually have been a portal to another world.  It just had that feeling. 🙂

    Gosh, I love when architecture kind of gets consumed by nature. That door has such a gorgeous and haunting feel. Beautiful photography!
