One of the things I photograph most frequently is the flowers around my yard. I can’t say that I’m very good at it, especially since I only use my phone, but I like to practice.
I didn’t even plant this one! I had planted petunias the previous year, and this one came back up in my window box.
Love the bugs in this one.
Lillies around my garage.
My most-photographed bush, the Rose of Sharon.
The only tulip the deer didn’t eat.
I took this one last week; my roses are being choked by weeds.
These last two are from a trip to the Columbus Park of Roses. It was a very sunny day, so not great for photos, but I still took so many because there were so many beautiful ones.
You can find more single flowers at the original Lens-Artist challenge, guest hosted this week by the wonderful Cee Neuner.
