Lens-Artists Challenge #76: On Display

The Guinness Storehouse in Dublin is a fun way to learn about the famous beer company and maybe sample a bit of their product.  But what drew my eye in the souvenir shop?

The glassware.

So shiny!

And yet as pretty as they were, I didn’t end up buying anything because I rarely drink and I don’t particularly like Guinness!  (I admit, it is true that it tastes better in Dublin.) I guess I am too practical.

Another cool display in Ireland was found at the Gougane Barra hotel: dolls from all over the world.

You can find more displays at the original Lens-Artist challenge.

Cool glasses, Mei-Mei! I must admit I never liked Guinness, but a visit here a couple of years ago changed that. And, I bought one of those glasses…

I laughed that you loved the glasses but not the beer Mei-Mei! Great choice beautifully captured

Love your displays! I don’t drink Guinness at home in the U.S. either but loved it at the Storehouse. I wanted some of those glasses but couldn’t figure out how they would fit in my suitcase!

Excellent. We were on a bus tour of the city and drove by Guinness Storehouse, with hundreds lined up to get in. Guinness is to thick and heavy for my personal taste. I lovvvvve Smithwicks, however.
