When the winter weather gets dreary, we can dream of summer in Tuscany.  On our visit there we had a wonderful meal at the Fattoria Poggio Alloro while enjoying the view of San Gimignano’s skyline.

    How true! Imagining or remembering a favorite place is the next best thing to bring there!

    That’s so pretty. I feel warmer just by thinking about sun and pools and greenery. This morning it was 24 degrees before taking wind chill into account (and boy was it windy!), so this was a much-needed photo today! Thank you for sharing, Mei-Mei.

    I really wish I’d been here but I’m miles away in Asia still it makes me feel so familiar. Love the blog, a nerdy girl blog is just what I needed.
