Welcome back to our Star Wars coloring book club, where Kiri at Star Wars Anonymous and I color the same image every month to compare and contrast.
This image has always cracked me up because it looks like Han has flowers instead of legs.
I kept the main colors in blues and reds to kind of match Han’s clothing. The red bands kind of reminded me of the Corellian Bloodstripes on his pants. According to Legends/EU, there are two kinds of Bloodstripes, and Han won both.
One story was that he won one set for rescuing his Wookie pal Chewbacca from Imperial slavery. I don’t think anything official has been said in the new canon for how he got the Bloodstripes, but I’m interested to see if they will address this at all in the upcoming Young Han Solo movie.

That is an interesting composition… I can’t say I’m a fan of the way they put those images together. But I like the top half 🙂 .

Yeah, it’s strange! The other pictures I’ve done have not been that weird haha. I also like the two separate parts, just maybe not together 😆

OMG I was originally going to do something based on the Corellian Bloodstripes! But then somehow I went down the energy path and got lost in that. I love that you ended up doing that though. I also like the blue sheen you put with his vest and that you colored his hair. Duh. I didn’t do anything with his hair hahaha. I love the blue flowers! Really nice.

The vest came out more blue than I intended haha. It’s hard to color in those tiny holes in the black parts!

Gosh, I haven’t colored in my mandala book for months… I should make a date with it soon. XD

Hello, sorry I am late to this topic but I just wanted to say that having read this (and seen the picture) it spurred my imagination for my latest lightsaber design for my site. I had seen the Bloodstripes on Hans trousers for years but just thought they were decorative. Having since researched their backstory I thought they could be incorporated into one of my hilt designs so thanks so much for your help!
