Weekly Photo Challenge: The Road Taken

From Trinity College, Dublin.

Our tour guide told us about a superstition regarding the Trinity College bell tower, or campanile: it’s said that any student who passes beneath it while the bell tolls will fail his or her exams.  We all confirmed that this was not a concern for us before traversing the walkway.

There were some students graduating on the day we were there, so perhaps some of them also braved the path for the first time!

How was it? We were supposed to go to Trinity College when my study tour travelled to Ireland but we never got around to it. I’m kind of sad about it.

Trinity is a great place to tour! Students do the tours and they are great–ours looked like Harry Potter haha. It’s a cool campus and of course the library and the Book of Kells are worth a look.
And I’m happy to report that I haven’t failed any exams. 😀
