Weekly Photo Challenge: Graceful

From County Clare, Ireland.

I didn’t have any great photos for this theme, so I went with one that made me laugh.  The area around the Cliffs of Moher had a lot of good signage, and I found this one particularly entertaining, if not particularly graceful.  But it gets the point across!

You could do a project just on Irish road signs, there are some standard signs, but so many ‘individual’ ones aimed at a particular hazard. I think that one is ‘SPEED SKATERS ON THE EDGE’

Haha yes I remember this one! It’s still there in case you’re wondering. It downright freaked my mother in law out when my husband and I were walking with ARM on the path we weren’t supposed to walk on. She got so upset that she turned around and walked back so as not to see us.

LOL I didn’t get close enough to the edge to freak my mom out or anything. One of the girls in our group was like a mountain goat, but her mom was chill.

The little human on the sign is indeed gracefully falling to her death.

My husband helped me pick the photo, and he was like “Oh look at the person gracefully dancing on the edge,” haha. An optimist, I guess? 😀

Quite a unique sign and am sure tiptoe-ing on the edge isn’t a great idea..lol
