From Inishmore, Aran Islands.

Up on Dun Aengus, 100m up on a rocky cliff, life still finds a way.  These tiny pretty flowers manage to thrive among the miles of rocks, the sea air, and all the tourists’ feet.

Lucky find. I think the most noticeable thing when you get to Kilronan, is the lack of trees. If a tree can’t withstand the weather, how could a crop?

Very true! The lack of trees results in some amazing views, at least.

Haha I try. 🙂 Also, I might feel differently if I had to live there instead of just visiting!

They are beautiful! Always lovely to find small beauties like these ones where you wouldn’t expect to find gorgeous purple flowers:)

They were a lovely surprise! Sometimes you have to remember to look down, too. 🙂

I love photos of flowers growing through rock and concrete. They are tenacious and beautiful. Nice photo and solution to the challenge.
