From Beara Peninsula.
The entire country of Ireland is magical, and I could have picked just about any picture from my trip there last year. But this stone circle, that we encountered in someone’s cow pasture, seemed to have that unearthly quality.
I used a slightly different picture of this circle for a previous photo challenge.
I know the Beara well and I know that stone circle … it does seem quite magical just there in its landscape and your picture does it particularly good justice

Thanks, I am quite jealous of the cows who get that view daily!
I’m also (selfishly) glad you know the circle, because I’ve lost my notes on its exact location. What town(s) is it near??

I’d say it’s nearest Ardgroom in the direction of Kenmare over the border in Co. Kerry but the circle is definitely still in Co. Cork 🙂
