From Kilbeggan, Ireland.
Walking through the Kilbeggan Distillery Experience was like taking a trip back in time, seeing how Irish whiskey was traditionally made. The distillery was first built in 1757, and the old waterwheel is still turning outside.
Look at the size of that wrench. They don’t make ’em like that anymore!

I was really wishing for such a wrench at work today…

I’ve got to ask ….. did you have a waterwheel that needed adjusting?

Haha nope…it was a liquid nitrogen tank!

How fun!
Do you enjoy whiskey? I don’t drink it myself but when we toured some of the whisky distilleries in Scotland some years back, I found it all quite fascinating. Too bad I didn’t enjoy the samples they handed out; my husband, fortunately, did.

No, I don’t care much for whiskey, or even beer! Not very Irish of me. I drank some cider in Ireland that I liked, though.
