Dún Aonghasa, or Dun Aengus, is a prehistoric fort built on the edge of a 100m high cliff. It would have been quite defensible!
I had some better pictures of the cliff edge, but I like this one because of the other random tourist trying to safely get his shot over the edge. It was a pretty dizzying view.
An amazing place! I want to bring a drone up there, to get a wide shot, but I know it will only end up in the Atlantic.
