From Cahersiveen, County Kerry.
Ballycarbery Castle, built in the 16th century, is now a ruin. But there’s still a lot of beauty to be found there; I was taken with this juxtaposition of the orderly, carefully constructed stone wall with the wild tangle of vines taking it over.
I’ve always loved looking at old walls, they tell you so much.

Oh hey – I’m going to Ireland in October for a week. Any advice on where to go? Shoot me an email. I was thinking Dublin for 3 nights then head to the west to the Cliffs of Moher.
