From Maumturk Mountains, Connemara.
A little bit of sun makes this proud foxglove look positively radiant. Just a taste of the wild beauty of the Connemara region. We had a beautiful hike in the Maumturks (though the rest of the group was more interested in hiking, and I was more interested in taking pictures of every flower…)
We are both like-minded. I do the same thing when hiking: “Don’t wait for me. I’ll catch up!”

There’s just so much to look at!
It also doesn’t help that I have short legs 😀

Thank you! 😀 And thanks for stopping by my blog. I just read (and LOVED) your book Masque, and I’m hoping to post a review of it here soon.

Oh! Thank you! That’s so lovely of you! I always stop by on the blogs of people who visit me, and I was immediately captured by your pictures. I love this sort of photo, but I have no talent myself, so I just stalk other people who CAN take this sort of photo 😀
