Fan Art Friday: Star Wars Coloring Book

This “adult coloring book” trend is something I can really get behind! For my birthday my sister got me colored pencils and two coloring books: tropical animals and Star Wars (she knows me so well).

The Star Wars book is AMAZING! It has both prequel and OT characters in an Art Nouveau style, interspersed with geometric patterns incorporating various icons of the series. The binding and paper pages are good quality, too.

I’ve been doing these while watching TV, and it really is stress-relieving! I’m sure I’ll post more of these as I do them. Here’s a few more examples of the awesome art from the book.

I go this for my birthday from a friend! I end up making copies of the the pages, so I don’t draw in the book…crazy huh? + that way I can let my kids draw too…

A sister??? So…You have a sister? If you guys were twins, that quote might actually work better.

But, yeah, you never mentioned your sister before! I love learning new things. I know your mom makes killer cakes, you have a husband and I think you guys are high school sweethearts, and…you have a cat?

Cool coloring book. I’m not sure I’d have the time for that but I do like the art.

  Haha yes I have a sister. I was..wise to hide her? Haha
  I may have mentioned her in passing before. I don’t see her all that often because she lives a couple hours away from me. You are correct on all counts, by the way, except that I have TWO cats.
  
  I mostly color while watching TV, which I do too much of anyways, so I might as well multi-task. I’m working on a Leia one now.

I bought this! The first page I colored was the Jango Fett near the front of the book, though I colored him like Boba bc I don’t care much for Jango 🙂
