BoA is the only solo artist I’m going to feature in this series. She’s known as the Queen of K-pop and is quite possibly the best dancer of any of Korea’s idols. Hence her videos are very fun to watch.
While this is not my favorite song of hers, it’s one of my favorites in terms of the concept and choreography. The backup dancers are really great here, too.
BoA has been performing and releasing songs since 2000 when she was only 13. She’s also very famous in Japan; I actually knew her Japanese music before I knew her K-pop stuff. She’s even recorded an English album (she speaks both Japanese and English very well).
