Being serious for a minute, the War Boys’ chrome mouth spray from the movie is obviously ritualistic, practically religious in nature. But I also wondered if it contained some kind of stimulant, too? It’s just the biologist in me. What do you guys think? Either way, it was a really cool aspect of Fury Road.
A big dose of spray paint to the mouth is probably going to have potent psychological effects that will aid in doing extreme things, if this Redditor is to be trusted:

Haha, that’s true, I didn’t think about the idea that it would be like huffing. Sounds unpleasant, but so does being a Warboy in the first place…
