From Cotopaxi National Park, Ecuador.
The páramo of the Andes is a cold, wet alpine scrubland. At the foot of Cotopaxi volcano, the terrain is rugged, and there are many valleys. The ecology is so different from the lush lowland rainforest, despite being at around the same latitude.
Looks like an amazing natural wonder!
