Just a quick note to share my cat’s reaction to his first real Christmas tree. We had just had it cut and brought it home, and it is a blue spruce, so it was quite wet and prickly…
He had been nosing around the tree for about 15 minutes before he got brave enough to try this…and he hasn’t tried it since.

Me: Please tell me you got that.
Husband: Yes, I got that on video. Oh my God…cat…
Me [to cat]: Yes, we’re laughing at you [dissolves into laughter]
