The next part of our Europe trip involved cruising around the coast of France and Italy.
In France, we visited Aix-en-Provence for an afternoon and saw many of its famous fountains
We visited several small towns in the Tuscan countryside
In Tuscany, we had lunch at this organic farm/restaurant (Fattoria Poggio Alloro); it was the best food we ate all trip, and the view of the countryside was stunning.

We took a bus tour of Rome, and only got to drive by the Colosseum
The lovely, crowded Trevi fountain. We also walked a few blocks to the Spanish steps.
